masterblaster72 0 #1 April 14, 2006 After a winter of eating a lot, drinking lotsa beer, not training as hard as I did for previous marathons...and as a result gaining 15 pounds, I'm hoping some dropzone.com vibeage will help me run a half-decent marathon on Monday. So I'd really appreciate a vibe or two if you can spare some. Thanks a lot :) Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up. wmw999 2,588 #2 April 14, 2006 Dude, if you qualified you're in good company. Just remember that you want them to all look like doofuses so that you can look like a god. Or something like that . Good luck, and enjoy yourself. It's supposed to be fun. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

Icon134 0 #4 April 14, 2006 I gotta go with wendy on this one... Qualifying is a serious feat in and of itself. You'll do fine.... and you've got my support. Quote After a winter of eating a lot, drinking lotsa beer, not training as hard as I did for previous marathons...and as a result gaining 15 pounds but this probably wasn't the best Idea... I'll be running my second in september... It'd be nice to qualify for boston but I'll have to shave off 20 minutes to do that... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... ccowden 0 #8 April 14, 2006 Last time I checked, sub 3:10 is still sub 3:15. I was assuming he was under 40 and therefore could run a sub 3:15. If he is under 35, than he can run a sub 3:10, which means he can run a sub 3:15. Should I go on?
