PLFXpert 0 #14 April 19, 2006 It's a conspiracy! I've known this for a while now. I'm not kidding. There have been "catch phrases" that originated in my circle of friends that two years later we heard in a movie And, I have always since I was a little girl cut-up/altered my clothes. I'm not the best at sewing, ironically, but I'm FABULOUS with a pair of scissors and knowing where/how to cut (in fact I still do this often, then bring my creation to my favorite little tailor who sews brilliantly where I ask her to). Anywho....a LONG time ago, when I was little, I cut the top off an old pair of jeans I'd outgrown in the waste, but still fit everywhere else. Next thing I know, Mariah Carey is sporting the look and there are racks of purposely frayed-topped jeans in the stores. I wore mine that way for a year prior! (and then never again.) I have many more where that came from Coincidence? I DON'T think so!Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
