If it's going to be used in "conventional" ways, i.e. on grandma's apple pie, then frozen is fine, but fresh-whipped is better.

But for more "creative" purposes? - Canned for sure!

Despicable. Best recipe for fresh whipped cream.

(2) Cup of Heavy Whipping Cream

(2) 1 tsp of granulated sugar

(3) 1/2 tsp of pure vanilla extract

Use a Kitchen Aid with a wire whip. Whip to stiff peaks (it takes about 5 or more minutes on level 5).

You can do it with a regular hand mixer but it takes a lot longer and doesn't come out as good.

If I ever get married again, that's something I'd like to try! Having had no experience in this arena, I'd thought I would ask so that I'd be prepared. Wouldn't using my Kitchen Aide and your recipe kill the mood?
