PLFXpert 0 #1 April 19, 2006 Yes, some of us still rely on the mail I used to get my mail in record time. In the past month, it's been quite the opposite. Things I normally get every Thursday, are not coming until Monday. A couple days, no mail at all. Then, doubled-up the following day. So, I called. Which is what I always do when I'm not happy about something Today, apparently the dealership I bought my new car from sent me a "Thank you" package full of various gourmet nuts. The package was stuffed like mad into my mailbox. IMPOSSIBLE to remove. I had plenty-o-willing men witnessing my predicament come over and give it their best shot. Men love these situations. I found it hilarious The nuts are still in my mailbox along with a very nice letter to the mailman. There is a bigger box for large packages, and I kindly asked him to stick it there. Frankly, I would have loved to tell him somewhere else to stick it Seriously, I had NO idea what the problem was when I called--for all I know, like last time we had a delay, it was the downtown main office not getting it to the beaches' office on time. Sheesh! And now I'm craving mixed nuts And that's my story...Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
TEB6363 0 #2 April 19, 2006 Ahh Yes, the mail 'person'.. They get Christmas gifts and always a wave when I see them.. Now the newspaper delivery, I call all the way from the service number to the supervisor... But then again, if I don't get the paper, my bills still won't be late Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!! MarkM 0 #3 April 19, 2006 It's the UPS guy that ticks me off. Never shows up at the same time of day. Doesn't leave a note on the door when he drops it off at the leasing office and sometimes just sets it in front of my apartment door. One package he left at my door had "video camera" labeled clearly on it.
