Broke 0 #8 April 11, 2006 You want me to work. Ugh Check out the DZ database, and then bring up mapquest. I am not sure about the distance to the CT Dropzones, But The Ranch, Cross Keysm and SDLI should all be less than 2 hours away. SDLI should be less than 1 hour, but there is the lovely Long Island traffic. So depending on the time of day count on 1.5 to 3 hours. Barring any massive traffic accidents where they need to shut down the LIEDivot your source for all things Hillbilly. ntrprnr 0 #10 April 11, 2006 Distance to the Ranch is 70 miles. Don't listen to Mapquest, they'll take you out of the way to New Paltz. You can go another way. Let me know if you need more info._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
giffnyc 0 #11 April 20, 2006 Skydive Long Island is about 70 miles, the Ranch is about 90. LI traffic can really suck. Ranch weekends tend to draw a bigger experienced jumper crowd -- we've been around for a good long time.
Mostly_Harmless 0 #12 April 20, 2006 You also have Sky's the Limit in PA which is pretty close. Long Island traffic isn't that bad on the weekends... When were you thinking about going?_________________________________________ www.myspace.com/termvelocity
Brian425 0 #13 April 21, 2006 I am driving up to the Ranch on Saturday morning. If you want a ride, I can pick you up in Manhattan or Brookyn. Free ride, great people, fast planes. What else can you ask for. PM me if you want a ride. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
