Anyone want to jump on the band wagon?

Lets all be jaded together.

Awe comeon!

Haven't you ever just been generally pissed off at the world and the ridiculous Bull Shit that happens and get jaded?

For instance -

I'm trying to get a metal supplier paid so we can receive materials and keep the job on schedule . . . The Bank, Citi Bank, in this case insists on writing all the checks to be paid to suppliers their selves (Contractual Agreement between them and the owner).

Fine - but they won't pay off until 10 days after I give them an invoice. We only have a small credit line at this metal supply company because we don't use them very often. What I need to order surpasses the credit line by 2.5 times the limit - in this case (24000). The supplier won't issue an invoice to be paid until we actually order and present them with a check that it takes Citibank 10 days to cut after they get an invoice to be paid.:|

All this is because of a change order that the owner wants expidited and we weren't allowed any additional days for completion of the project.

:S

Geez, jump on a guy's bandwagon in such a way so that it doesn't jar the movement and look what happens. :P

Be honest, you were just waiting to tell that story, right? ;):D

Actually, this morning was quite appropriate for this thread.

In my mail last night (two weeks' worth, I might add) I had:

1) A rejection notice from TMobile for my $150 rebate. One call got me nowhere, the second lasted 50 minutes to try to figure out why they are holding on to my money. I give the rep credit - she made a lot of effort to try to get a straight answer out of someone, but really, it shouldn't be that difficult. Sigh.

2) A "no, sorry, you CAN'T get out of jury duty" notice from King County Superior Court. So I have to at least postpone it since I'll kind of be working in Atlanta the week they'd like me to be there. Apparently "not in the same time zone" is not a good enough excuse. Sigh.

3) A bill from my dermatologist for my $15 copay, which I paid at the time of the visit. I thought perhaps I was saving both me and the office time and effort by paying it then, rather than waiting for a bill, but apparently not. And we wonder why health care costs are so high. Sigh.

That was about it for the stuff that makes me jaded. Also in my pile of mail wasa new Bluetooth headset, a 1GB jump drive, and a Bonehead Mamba! B|
