SpeedRacer 1 #1 April 22, 2006 This is what I'm NOT drinking this weekend (due to "No-Alcohol April") I brewed up a batch of Dunkelweizen a month or two ago, and it came out great. The problem with weizen beer is that the unique aromatics that come from wiezen yeast & malted wheat tend to die down over time. This is why weizen beer should be drunk relatively young. There's the problem. I still have like half a case left, but I can't drink it til May. A week & a half ago I bottled an IPA, and today I will bottle some California Steam beer. I will have a whole basement filled with homebrew when Cinco de Mayo comes. anyway, we got shitty weather here in Maryland all weekend long, so I just thought I'd postwhore about my other hobby.
