The_Don 0 #26 April 19, 2006 QuotePut the lazer pointer on her tail and she was break dancing. Now I'm getting the cat to jump/dance in conjunction to the music I have on HMM? now i know why we got along... I am NOT being loud. I'm being enthusiastic! Michele 1 #27 April 19, 2006 Also, be careful with the laser pointer and not get it into her eyes...it can burn their retinas. I use mine on the wall...makes them try to climb it. LOL! mnealtx 0 #34 April 19, 2006 if she's got her paws tucked under her chest like you would put your hands in your armpits to make chicken wings, you're good - she's chilled out for a while... of course, there's no telling if she'll decide to take a rip through the house at 3 am... It sounds like she has her days and nights mixed up! You'd think that the lazer pointer games would've worn her out enough to sleep last night. So, tonight the plan is to put her in the bathroom down the hall. _________________________________________
Rebecca 0 #44 April 19, 2006 Ugh. I had the cat sleeping between my shins, which prevented me from tossing and turning, though I did kick her in the head once. 'Course that woke me up, and then she retaliated by crawling up right in my face and sticking her whiskers up my nose. Then she curled up onto my shoulder to make human flesh biscuits. Ouch. I'm so sleepy. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
waltappel 1 #45 April 19, 2006 QuoteYou'd think that the lazer pointer games would've worn her out enough to sleep last night. So, tonight the plan is to put her in the bathroom down the hall. You cannot wear a young cat out and putting her in the bathroom will cause her to meow and claw at the door all night. The thing to do (and this works GREAT to ease a cat's anxiety after moving to a new place) is take some butter or margerine and smear it all over the cat's front legs. The cat will be very preoccupied with licking it off and will be very calm. Walt
Richards 0 #46 April 19, 2006 Say no next time they ask you to cat-sit. I used to always say yes to everybody with respect to these things. I started saying no and found I liked that word very much. RkyMtnHigh 0 #49 April 26, 2006 Today I finally gave "Spooky" back to her owner. Although she drove me nutz, it's kind of odd not having her around. Bob told me to put doublesided tape on her paws and watch her walk as if she has Romper Room stilts on and the lazer pointer was fun to play with too. She's up for adoption. Wish I had a pic to post but she's really young, energetic, pure white, and playful. _________________________________________
yamtx73 0 #50 April 26, 2006 Well, if you miss her that much... adopt her... then you can have all sorts of fun tormenting her... She's young and energetic now but give it a year and she'll calm down alot... even more after she's fixed...The only naturals in this sport shit thru feathers...
