Anyone ever break a rib?

On a different note, I was seriously surprised at how easy ribs break. "POP", broken rib. I on occasion perform CPR at work and had heard "if ya aint breakin ribs, ya aint doin it right". I WILL say that if a firefighter initiates CPR, there aint much left for me to break

Yup, if that's where the break is... I broke two at the same time, and when I would inhale or exhale, you could hear the bone 'grinding', I believe this is called crepitus in medical terms.(sp?)

If I rolled over in bed, I could actually feel the ribs moving around. Hurt like hell to laugh; a cough was even worse. Didn't get a good night's sleep for two weeks, even with the pain killers.

No wrapping or taping though.
