Slappie 9 #1 April 26, 2006 Before you try and tell me I don't need anything. I need to explain. I've been on antibiotics to kill a staph infection in my nose. This was caused by an ingrown hair at the tip.. when I say painful it had my whole face on fire, headache and generally willing to kill close family members if I thought it would relieve me of the pain. Not to mention I looked like Rudolph... So I've been on these antibiotics for 8 days with 2 days left. I've drank beer while taking antibodies before and never worried. It's really a myth that alcohol breaks down their ability to fight infections. So I never cared.. My gf is in a pharmacology class and is really hip on looking up drugs for effects, side effects etc.. well just happens that the drug I'm taking is metabolized in the liver. Since my liver enzymes were already outta whack I can't push it.
