akarunway 1 #3 April 28, 2006 I'll bite. "RUNWAY" After a good jump when I first started I walked across the runway to the hanger. I stopped to tie my shoe> In the middle off the runway as our pilot was landing the Caravan. Heard him, looked left as he did a touch and go over my head, banked left, buzzed the hanger (as close as he could), did a go around, landed the plane and shut it down. A whole planeload was waiting to board. I went into hiding. Awhile later I was told everything can be solved w/BEER. So I go to the store and buy a shitload of Budwieser. WRONG. They said oh>"You trying, to add insult to injury now". So now, colored beer and look all around before you cross the RUNWAY.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. One family, the Roach's, came in with Dad = BigBug, Mom = Ladybug and then the son, on AFF 1 picked out a small tree to land in, earned Treebug. One jumper, innocently trying to entertain another jumper's young daughter earned Ped (pedophile). One jumper's name became a verb after several landing events.
