AlexCrowley 0 #1 December 30, 2005 Comcasts spam filters have become completely useless over the last few months. While this doesnt effect me at home I get to see the majority of my spam when using the webmail client. A year ago I would have hated it, but because of the advances in filtering the spammers have to be creative to get around them. This has led to a new form of dadaism: Subject line roullette. I now enjoy getting my spam. Not because they're sometimes unintentionally humorous "Jamel the bicarbonate, the emphatic" who sounds like a good guy. But because they spark creativity: How can your brain not go off in 20 directions (or 3 if you dont require medication) when you read: bodybuilding or bullet rack pawnshop balance, or cigarette , racket warsaw scoreboard , fount try rustproof on czar, or even: That type be intervene Of course, it could be that I need another pill. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.

AlexCrowley 0 #4 December 30, 2005 what he said. As better filters are developed spammers develop more sophisticated techniques. Like anything related to computers it's all about playing catchup. Solving spam is incredibly simple on paper. In the wild not so much. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.

AlexCrowley 0 #8 December 30, 2005 I'm actually created this thread to challenge THE THREAD in SC as having most posts. The twist being that I will make all the posts while spinning around on my head and taking a break every 20 minutes to go scourge myself while standing naked in a cold lake. And then I shall be king. And you shall be queen. Ganesh? TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
