briguy 0 #1 May 2, 2006 At what price will you stop skydiving or cut back significantly due to jump ticket prices? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

CanuckInUSA 0 #6 May 2, 2006 Quote There is always ground launching and BASE jumping. I think I'm currently paying about $150-$175 per BASE jump that I have made (factoring in the two rigs that I own, the initial FJC training and the travel to the various sites that I have jumped). On the surface it may appear to be cheaper than skydiving, but contrary to popular belief, BASE jumping is not free and neither is Ground Launching. Now if you've got an exit point that you don't get bored of, or a launchable hill, count yourself lucky. But in many cases a lot of travel and all the costs associated with travel must be factored in. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
