As for respect, he did his 5 1/2 years and was honorably discharged (now in the reserves). That's what Rangers do; they do their thing, then go out to other units or they're done with their time. As far as being tough...I don't think he's forgotten over night. Joe is the coolest dude anywhere, he's everyone's friend.
