In short---it took a lot of searching/researching, but I finally found something that I was happy with all around---I really love what I do b/c the income is in the range I'd hoped for and my schedule is still flexible and I can live where I want to live. But, I went through rough times wondering on numerous occasions if I'd made the right decision. If your heart is set on nursing, but your heart is also where you live, you CAN make it work.
