See but he still needs to wake up for someone breaking in, since he doesn't wake up with the dogs barking and I'm the one to get up and check it out, I'll stick with the glock. So back to the original, if he wakes up when Fox wants a treat that means he will hear the some one breaking into the house. When that happens he can get a shotgun until then I'll stick with the sheepdog and the glock.

Oh we also have a home security system that I'm working on getting monitored. The original owners had it installed because they had autistic kids, so it was to keep them in rather than keep someone out.

You know, I wake up at 0400 when The Dude wants fresh food, but then I kick him out of the room and go back to sleep. Have you considered he's ignoring the dog?

I did, I'm just trying to help the poor guy out. He wants a cool shotgun, he has a good excuse for it and that's good enough in my book. I've had similar discussion with my wife, then again, after I got the shotgun she likes having it around when I'm working nights.

(Just let the poor little guy get what he wants, I bet he'll let you shoot it).
