shropshire 0 #3 May 7, 2006 <> Cuz you put Duran Duran on your pod. For my taste, I need more blues and wailing geetars (Santana, Eric Johnson, Gary Moore, Jeff Healey etc...) and some sweet voices ( Amanda Marshall, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Eva Cassidy,Lighthouse Family) and some suuper groups (Floyd, Zeplin, U2)... and then some Mahler, Beethoven... 'Corse the only stuff that you should put on your toy is the stuff that you own.... so what else is in you CD collection? (.)Y(.) nacmacfeegle 0 #12 May 9, 2006 "What/who have I missed? " Sign up to Pandora and set up some of your favourites, then listen to them sending you similar choonz. www.pandora.com I got a free 90 day trial with my Squeezebox, http://www.slimdevices.com/ and its very, very, very cool. All you need is a valid US zip code, I used 90210. Squeezbox is way better than an I-pod for in-house choonz, not much use for jogging though.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. DJL 235 #13 May 9, 2006 QuoteWho else is worthy? Its a mixed bag of music as you can see Try expanding your sources a little. That's pretty much an MTV/Radio lineup. Depart from the MTV mainstream! I see you have some commercialized metal in there. Most modern heavy-rock and pop-punk has it roots in the smalltime hardcore bands of the 90's that thrive in an uncommercialized subset of the music industry. Check out Snapcase, Bane, Boy Sets Fire (old stuff), 4 Walls Falling, One King down. Hell, just go to revhq.com and start listening.
