Kid_Icarus 0 #1 May 8, 2006 Ok, So he's George McFly in Back to the Future. He generally plays weird roles in films. Most of us are familliar with his bizarre David Letterman appearance in 1987. if not here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALapHYNSmoA&search=Crispin But here's the really weird stuff. His independently financed and produced movie trilogy and music video. Here is the trailer for the music video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbCiac03ycQ And the first movie "What Is It." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhtaI7SCvq0&search=glover The second, "It is Fine. Everything Is Fine!" is finished, and I don't know about the 3rd. I would like to see the whole movie, but can't seem to find it anywhere. I heard he was having trouble getting a distributor... no wonder. But still, it's good to see variation in the film world. It's worth a look. ________________________________________ "What What..... MrHixxx 0 #2 May 8, 2006 He's an artist. Nobody understands him. He's not to be understood. So, don't look at him, you'll only antagonize him...death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
chaoskitty 0 #3 May 8, 2006 OH! Thats who the Thin Man in Charlies Angels reminded me of..
DJL 235 #4 May 8, 2006 That's because HE IS the thin man from Charlie's Angels. Yeah, Crispin is an F'ing WHACK job. That David Letterman interview is the only time that DL went to commercial to kick someone off the show. Edit to add: I read that supposedly the whole thing was a set-up since he was in character. My viewpoint stands...whacked."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

ffejdraga 0 #6 May 10, 2006 One random day of hanging out at my house, a movie came on tv, it was called Bartleby, and it starred Crispin. Strange movie, and all I can say is " I prefer not to." Weird. He was good as Andy Warhol in The Doors movie. He is playing the role of Grendel, the evil baddy in the upcoming Beowulf with Angelina Jolie. Should be interesting. jeff D-16906
Thanatos340 1 #7 May 10, 2006 He was also pretty good in The Rivers Edge with Keanau Reeves and Dennis Hopper. But I dont think he was acting in that movie.. just being himself.. Still a Good movie..
kenz 0 #8 May 10, 2006 um wow... i almost feel bad for him after watching those clips... it seems like he is a disturbed individual (maybe he's not) i don't get him, but i'm hoping someone does.. i would have originally jumped to the conclusion that he was on serious drugs but i think he's seriously unbalanced.... and freakin crazy as it is i now have that dumb clown song stuck in my head."life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me
SpeedRacer 1 #9 May 10, 2006 Crispin Glover explained later that his behavior on the Letterman show was an act of staying in the character of the role he had played in a film at the time, called Rubin & Ed.
