PLFXpert 0 #26 May 9, 2006 When I was younger I couldn't stand drinking it. Now, I crave it. I don't drink much else except soy latte's and Pomegranate juice----oh, and red winePaint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
Slappie 9 #27 May 9, 2006 I drink the shit out of it, only because it's cheap.. I'm into inexpensive things. That and I drink a shit load of beer and some sodas. So it is my drink of choice while sitting at work. Plus I'll drink it at home instead of a soda. NWFlyer 2 #30 May 9, 2006 QuoteI drink a big glass of water before I even get out of bed. It helps me wake up. (& also some people get that funny feeling in their stomachs sometimes in the mornings where they cant tell if they're nauseous or hungry. That feeling is caused by dehydration) editd to add: I believe that anyone who doesn't like water is NOT OF THIS EARTH!!! I agree! I drink water all day and love the stuff. I get headaches or general malaise/fatigue if I don't drink enough water. Water keeps me happy. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. niolosoiale 0 #31 May 9, 2006 I drink water out of paranoia of kidney stones. I also like water. Only times I don't drink it are when I'm in Norman, Oklahoma or any city that gets it's water from a lake instead of an aquifer. Lake water tastes like ass. boinky 0 #33 May 9, 2006 QuotePerhaps some people enjoy having to urinate constantly Well hell...I have to do that anyway!!! It is NOT fun, nor enjoyable. Neither are the jokes that stem from this constant urination urge. I have to go pee before I jump. EVERY time. So, just for shits and giggles, I tried not eating or drinking ANYTHING from the time I got up that morning until I quit jumping that day. Didn't work. ffejdraga 0 #35 May 10, 2006 This thread has reminded me that I haven't drank any water in a few hours. I just filled up and downed a glass of about 16oz. It is 11:35pm here, and in a minute, i will grab another glass of the same before I head off to bed. I used to live in a state of constant dehydration (about 5 or six years ago). once you start and get used to being hydrated, you crave it, you need it, and you can feel it when you don't have enough. If the taste gets you, try adding a bit of lemon juice, or take a few sticks of cinnamon and let them soak in a bottle in the fridge. When you run low, just add more water and let it soak again... good stuff. I drink it plain, about a gallon or two a day. It is good. Drink up non-water drinkers, you will feel the difference. jeff D-16906 edited for spelling
warpedskydiver 0 #36 May 10, 2006 90% of the population of the US walks around in a constant state of dehydration... The AMA loves this as it causes all kinds of ailments and really generates billions for the medical community. Oh and if you are one of the 90% don't worry if you get stranded, you may not live more than 48hrs
SpeedRacer 1 #37 May 10, 2006 Quote 90% of the population of the US walks around in a constant state of dehydration...Shocked This sounds a little exaggerated to me.
