Road Trip....

Recommended Posts

Ok, so in a week I'll be driving from pennsylvania (where I'm from) to colorado for my internship for the summer. This is the second time making this drive, but last year, I wasn't a skydiver nor did I have a license.

So as I'm planning and mapping out my trip and want to know if you guys knew of any good spots to stop off at that would help me keep me sanity. (Skydiving related or not) I'd like to stop at different dropzones if they're somewhat near where i'm gonna be passing through.

My plan is to take I-80 W to I-280 W through Illinois and Iowa and back onto I-80 W through Nebraska and to I-76 S on into colorado. I'm stopping off and making it a 2 day trip.

So yeah any ideas are welcome, help me out guys...its a 19 hour trip and my iPod can only help so much... :P
Puttin' some stank on it.

cut down through ohio on i-70 and you will go by atleast 3 dropzones......

skydive green county in xena ohio, about 30 minutes off i-70, skydive richmond a little jog of the freeway in richmond indiana, and archway skydiving in illinois just east od st. louis..... and then as ya get into kansas i think there is another dz not far away, and then into colorado youare there and there are like 3 to choose from.... i've driven utah to ohio and colorado springs to ohio about 6 times now..... on i-80 there ain't squat!!!! of course i-70 between st. charles and denver there isn't much either....
