bert_man 0 #26 May 11, 2006 i live next door to starbucks and about 3-4 nights per week i'll go over there and get 14 (yes, fourteen) shots of espresso. Black coffee tastes like water to me now, espresso is quite tasty, and i can drink it all and still go to sleep. Or sometimes 2 shots will make me jittery... strange how that works.-Ghetto "The reason death cannot frighten me, is because life has cured me of fear." hungarianchick 0 #28 May 11, 2006 I stopped drinking anything with caffeine months ago and I don't feel the difference. I was a moderate coffee drinker to begin with. I'd have one cup in the morning maybe another if I had a rough night and nothing with caffeine after 2 pm (including tea or soda) or I couldn't sleep. "I love cooking with wine. boinky 0 #29 May 11, 2006 Caffeine has no invigorating effects on me any more. I drink diet sodas all day long and also can go to sleep at night. I used to drink Diet Code Red and was bouncing off the walls, but it has also lost its effectiveness. I've voluntarily given them up before and had only mild side-effects. But I've found that I just enjoy the taste...not just the caffeine. A lot of times, if I can find a flavor that is caffeine-free, I buy it instead.Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts?
