skydivermom 0 #1 May 13, 2006 After dealing with all the typical stresses and headaches of selling/buying a house, packing/unpacking, and setting up utilities and such, I can proudly say it was worth it. We've spent several nights now sitting on our porch watching the fireflies. We have a wet weather creek and one night it stormed pretty good. The next morning we heard the rushing water from our porch. When we walked down to view the source of the sound, we were pleasantly surprised with several springs bubbling out of the rock bank. I wish I had pictures of that, but here are some of our house. These are the ones the realtor took that made us fall in love with it! BTW, it's in Canyon Lake, TX...about 30 minutes outside of San Antonio. It's nestled right in the middle of the hill country, which is the paradise of the state!Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:

JohnRich 4 #6 May 13, 2006 Gorgeous! That great porch is where I'd be spending half the year. You need a bigger TV. Do you play the piano? It's funny what some people notice in house pictures...
rmsmith 1 #7 May 14, 2006 You should be safe from the RE bubble there in the San Antonio, TX market as it's rated at only 7% over priced. The coastal regions are going to experience big price reductions as the ARM adjustments loom forcing a sale and causing a rapidly ballooning inventory. BTW, nice place there too!
