SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 May 15, 2006 Woke up from a dream this morning...basically in the dream I was robbed at knife point, I ended up giving the money away, bill by bill, 'cause he kept asking for more, and then I finally handed over the entire wade of cash and said, "here take it." He (not sure who it was, never say his face) just walked away. I remember in the dream looking at the knife and realizing that it was "only" a steak knife...I could have taken it from him/kicked his ass and I didn't....I just gave him what he wanted....Damn! I'm such a wuss. Not sure why I am so disturbed by this dream..but it woke me up and it lingers on in my mind. Whats it all mean? BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. I've tried time and time again to analyze my dreams looking for that "deeper meaning" and the fact is, no-one really knows what is going on with dreams, only speculation. It's like a horoscope---I can look up "lion" b/c there was a lion in my dream and it means this and if I think hard enough I can think of something in my life that could have been represented by that lion in my dream, but realistically just as a horoscope is generalized to potentially fit everyone, so are dream interpretations. I'm not saying there's not something to it---just that I don't think most people could/would/do get it right when they attempt to figure it out. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is---Don't worry about it (I've been on an overly long explanation-thing lately) I've woken up though plenty of times and flipped my hunny's arm off of me and he'll go "What? So if you are stalking me and I have not yet had the chance to post & edit you will inevitably find a mistake, but rest assure if you had waited just two more minutes that which you have quoted would no longer be incorrect. You will also note I took out the use of many "that"s b/c it is an unnecessary filler and when one is given limited space for an article or column one must eliminate such fillers. Bobbi ________________________________________ Years ago, I kept having a re-occuring dream where I would climb a staircase. The staircase became more enclosed and and bent at sharp angles. I'd reach the top but, when I got there... there was no room. I was in a scrunched, almost fetal position. I had that dream on an almost nightly basis.
