ACMESkydiver 0 #1 May 16, 2006 Now I'm not trying to be pessimistic...if it's true, then HALLELULIA it's only a bad bone bruise! -but there's that little thing of my knee hyper-exdending still...and the pain. Um, is there any chance that it's wrong? I'm so afraid of damaging this thing worse, but I SOOOO want to get on with life again! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. NtheSeaOrSky 0 #4 May 16, 2006 My surgeon, the anesthesia people and myself found out in the OR mine had been misread by 2 different hospitals, and he sent them off after the fact and 4 other hospitals read them with the same error. It really did look like "X" but was "Y" - but surgeons tend to panic a bit when they have you open and the 'torn' part is completely intact and looks perfect especially when you are awake and watching the procedure on the monitor .Life is not fair and there are no guarantees... NWFlyer 2 #5 May 16, 2006 What about a second opinion? Take the films to another doc (maybe more of a specialist)..."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Good idea, but I don't have the money to go hopping around to have people read my pics right now. CURED!!! Uh, at least until it hurts again later tonight. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

lawrocket 3 #8 May 16, 2006 QuoteI was just kinda wondering how often it is that these things are misread. Very often. It's why every radiologist ends every report with, "Clinical correlation of these findings is recommended." My wife is hotter than your wife.
