I'd answer this... but I think there are enough people on here that actually know me that would be able to answer it better... I think in general I'm the same person online as I am in person... 2fat2fly 0 #16 May 17, 2006 I'm very shy and reserved, normally. Now if you catch me when I'm working it's different because I'm already "on"I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
Darius11 12 #17 May 17, 2006 I would have to say I am different I can’t really point to why or what. I just know in real life I get along with almost everyone I am very mellow, and love to have fun no matter what. On here I disagree with almost everyone and don’t get along with to many people. I feel I am the same person on here and in real life but I think the focus is on different parts.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

karenmeal 0 #20 May 17, 2006 I would say that the main reason I would come off different in person is that I smile a whole lot. I say the same sort of stuff (perhaps less abrasive in person) but I do it with a smile. I rely on body language/facial expressions a lot to convey meaning. And I'm kinda quiet/shy in person sometimes too. But I don't know.. maybe that is evident online. -Karen "Life is a temporary victory over the causes which induce death." - Sylvester Graham

lawrocket 3 #22 May 17, 2006 QuotePeople used to be really shocked by how "normal" and even relatively quiet I am in person. Yeah, I was one of them. You wouldn't even drink and you were pretty calm and quiet, though you offered valuable advice for dealing with a pregnant wifey. As for me, I'm usually fairly quiet and calm until I get comfortable with people. Then, I can actually get a little loud. My wife is hotter than your wife.
