Video Editor or Computer People

Hey, how do you layer sound clips? Like a dog barking, and a plane flying, and wind rushing, etc etc.

We have BASIC programs (Windows Media, Word, Excel, blah blah) and my daughter is doing a report.

We tried putting sound clips into a word document and then clicking on each icon in succession, but we couldn't get all of them going at once. We have about 9 sound clips that need to run simultaneously, very loudly (mimicing the sound of panic that Autistics hear regularly).

Please help!

You can do it in Windows Movie Maker if you have XP ... it should have come with XP, anyway.

Otherwise, you probably need pro editing software ... unless somebody out there has a better idea ... ?

You can im or email the sounds to me and I can put them all together in Final Cut Pro

if its just sound clips this program is your friend...

if you want to export it as a .mp3 you'll have to download the Lame MP3 encoder (once you left click on the Download Audacity 1.2.4b it will be on the next page).
