Buried 0 #1 May 24, 2006 Now who's idea was it to take cereal out of the home and make a restaurant out of it? http://www.cereality.com/main.php they have 40+ types of cereal..... I can't believe people are just so lazy to go to these places, but on the other hand I think it's a fantastic idear. Where is my fizzy-lifting drink? ACMESkydiver 0 #2 May 24, 2006 I don't freakin' believe it. I wonder how long that'll last. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
simplyputsi 0 #3 May 24, 2006 Now there is a store I could own. Except the hour would change. Screw being open at dinner. Except there is one problem. Last I checked I wasn't lazy enough to not make myself a bowl of cereal. Not only that but I can sit and eat it in my bday suit if i please at home. It's a good idea, sure there isn't much overhead there. Cereal does cost alot these days though.Skymama's #2 stalker -
Buried 0 #4 May 24, 2006 QuoteI don't freakin' believe it. I wonder how long that'll last. it's been around chicago for at least a yr or more and does really good business apparently. They are even open until 12am on the weekends! I know it has been in NYC longer than chicago too... Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?
nanook 1 #5 May 24, 2006 I think it will be a hit. But it would have to be in a busy morning foot traffic downtown area. I think the good part of the profit would come from the simplicity and low overhead._____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln

nanook 1 #7 May 24, 2006 Yeah, me too. But. probably one of the best business/entrepeneur strategies is asking: "How can I make people lazier?"_____________________________ "The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they are genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
monkycndo 0 #8 May 24, 2006 Quoteagreed, but i still can't believe that people are just so lazy. What's the difference between a cup of cereal at this place and going to Starbucks for a cup of coffee? People are willing to pay for convenience and variety. I'm too cheap to patronize either.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

Revillusion 0 #12 May 25, 2006 One of the companies corporate slogans is "move over Starbucks". While I doubt that that they will give Starbucks a run for their money, I do commend their originators for creativity. Thanks for the belly laugh this morning, I needed it. ffejdraga 0 #13 May 25, 2006 I would say that it takes more effort to get a place like this, than it would to eat cereal in your home. Cereal is marked up high enough out of the box...I wonder how much they gouge ya here... jeff D-16906
