SpeedRacer 1 #51 May 25, 2006 After I fill the waterdish, the female cat will push it with her paw to make the water slop onto the floor. And the male cat will drop objects into it. I'll come down in the morning and there will be a cat toy, or a rubber band, or a strip of cardboard sitting in there. I don't know why they do this. Someone posted something suggesting that it's for safekeeping of their toys, but they put things that arent toys in there too. bch7773 0 #53 May 25, 2006 my dog at home learned to knock on doors when she wants in. She knocks by smacking her nose into the door several times. Then she sits down and waits for the person within to open it. my roomates dog will lick and shew on earlobes. Its very strange, but she loves to do it. she waits until you lay down on a couch, then runs up and starts. MB 3528, RB 1182
wmw999 2,587 #54 May 25, 2006 One of my dogs (a Rottweiler, no less) won't push doors open. She'll sit outside a door that's got a 6-inch gap, whining because she can't get in. I'm not about to teach her Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence.
