bertusgeert 1 #1 May 8, 2006 I'm designing a banner/logo for our website, and found out how to play a bit with paint shop. Maybe I went a little overboard. How would you change it? What would you do instead? --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!

davedlg 0 #3 May 8, 2006 Looks good to me. As a side note, whatever you do, don't name it "banner.jpg", anything with the word "banner" in it, or in a directory that contains the word "banner". Computers with Norton Ad Blocker will block the image!
bertusgeert 1 #4 May 8, 2006 That's good advice. Something else I thought I might ask - what is the best width? --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!
jimmytavino 16 #5 May 8, 2006 looks good. only I'd suggest that the ticker line continues to climb, as it fades off the page , to the right.. At the moment it drops....right there,,, and that is contrary to what investors might like to see... ... keep it climbing
 JohnRich 4 #6 May 8, 2006 First, you're going to need a statement for the animal rights people that "the bull was not harmed in the making of this banner." Second, that white yuppie guy on the right side just won't do in today's politically correct environment. You have to show ethnic diversity and sensitivity, so you'll have to add a black guy and an asian chick. And finally, all your money is shown in U.S. denominations. Likewise with item #2, above, you must reflect worldwide scope instead of just American capitalism, so you'll have to display some yen and euros too. That should keep the political correctness police off your ass for a while. Pssst....John, if you put an apostrophe in Investor's, it would indicate ownership by a single investor. If you add an apostrophe after -Investors'- it would indicate a club owned by the investors. An apostrophe is not needed because it is a club comprised of investors. Unless you wanted to show ownership.
