That's kind of what I was hoping they'd do even though I like Taylor. It just would have been so funny!

You could see him sweating bullets when he was sitting there by himself though.

Paris or Kelly are going home tomorrow. Paris chose a tired song - overplayed and burned out, and IMHO she hasn't shown flexibility between genres like some of the others. Kelly was tentative and the song was boring.

I enjoyed Elliott's performance the most, followed by Catherine - who I thought the judges were off base about. She tackled a tough song which is really ballsy and did a great job with it.

Paris or Kelly tomorrow - my prediction. What to y'all think?

Totally agree...Kelly seems to be "losing" it..after bombing last week, she has no "guts" any more....Paris's song was very tired...Taylor though didn't wow me either...I really, really liked Chris version of the song he sang...very good...Katherine I thought did very well too.....Simon was an idiot with his remarks towards her last night.....

My thoughts:

Whomever that talktative prick was as the guest who coached the contestants really irritated me. >:(:P

Catherine--GORGEOUS, as usual, sang beautifully (but imo, not her best) and her dress was fabulous in yellow, but the fit was all wrong[:/] These things annoy me.

Kelly--I'm over her. At first she was one of my faves. Now I'm bored.

Elliot--He was fabulous---looked great in his suit.

Paris--I thought she was awful and was flat the entire song. I was disappointed the judges did not mention that.

Taylor--LOVE HIM. And I was disappointed the judges did not care for his performance.

Chris--Hot! Fantastic song/performance.

I would love to see Kelly or Paris go home:)

I agree, except I wasn't overly thrilled with Elliot's performance, he was good it just wasn't as 'tear worthy' that Paula thought. But then, I think Paula should cut back on her meds.

I really liked Kellie at the beginning......she just isn't consistant unless it's a country music song.

Katharine's dress........did she look in a mirror before deciding to wear it? Kind of tacky to have undie lines with a gown like that.

Seems to me, the judges are really 'promoting' Elliott. What's the deal with that? I don't think he's all that hot. Leastwise, not like the tearful Paula blubbers over him. The judges have been really pushing Elliott for about the last 3-weeks... bor...ing!
I'm tired of Chris' 'Creed' impersonation. Personally, I think the theme of each show is hurting the contestants. I think, they need to let each contestant choose their own songs in whichever area they feel comfortable with and let the voters pick the one they like best.. All of the songs they've done lately just drag and drone. I'd rather watch water freeze.

Amen, sister!! Elliot was good until Chris showed up. T thought Chris really put some spice on the show last night and put his soul into the song. He'll be around in the end.


Miss Pickler is ready to go home. If she IS acting (like I said before--she's playing naive)...she'd better start acting like she's got some SONG in her and stop standing around apologizing for being there. Its over.

I don't think Katherine is all that, but then again, maybe she SHOULD win and leave Chris as #2. The number 2 person has the freedom to court whatever contracts and connections they please. But...where the hell is Justin Guarini? I think I saw him on the milk carton.
(singsong: We saw Katherine's paaaaaaaaaaanties!! We saw Katherines paaaaaaaaaanties!) other than that she should have just sent the dress out to twirl.

Paula probably has a hangover and is mortified reviewing last nights tapes. She was cutting Simon off and he was laughing at her tears. I'm waiting for him to say 'if you don't stop cutting me off I'm going to knock your DRUNK a$$ OUT!' then DO it.

Its going to be an interesting final 4. ~~April

I like Katharine but I don't think she's half as solid as Kelly Clarkson was. I think this year it's definitely going to be a guy that wins.

Chris has the looks, Elliott has the voice. He's so solid, never pitchy, and just a good performer. Chris should have tried out for Rockstar INXS.

OK, a little late, but I agree with the general consensus here. I thought the judges were WAAAAY too harsh with Katharine, and way too gracious with Elliott. I thought Katharine and Chris were by far the best of the night, and found Ell-eeeeee-ut's perfomance to be tentative and lacking passion. Not that he hit a bad note or anything, but for me it was nothing rave worthy. Paula was probably crying because Simon took her hootch away!:ph34r:

Kellie- poor Kellie- butchered another song and you just knew she was going to before she even opened her mouth. All I needed to hear was "Unchained Melody" and I knew for the 2nd week in a row, she'd make my ears bleed! Unchained Melody? Tried and butchered by so many other better singers out there! What was she thinking?

Paris- Simon must have been reading my mind when he said she sounded like she was TRYING to sound older. It wasn't good. best female vocal of the night? Better than Katharine's flawless performance? Not even in the same league! Paula needs to put down her crack pipe. Even Simon apologized!

Taylor seemed off, especially at the start, but something clicked about 3/4 of the way through the song, and he had a great finish.

Chris was amazing- perfect song choice for him, IMO. (And I saw no Creed wannabe in that performance!)

As much as I would have liked to see Paris leave tonight, after two really bad weeks in a row, Kellie was the right choice. FOX was pretty quick to use Lisa Tucker in one of their shows, so maybe they'll do the same for her.

I think, the real entertainment on 'Idol', is with the judges and Seacrest! I keep expecting Paula to attack Elliott and give him a hummer on stage! When is Simon gonna 'deck' Seacrest for his arrogant, smart-assed mouth. Then, to see the whole thing turn into one big 'Love-in' with ol 'Randy aimlessly saying; "You go dog! That's the bomb!:P:S
As for the contestants, at this point it's a toss-up. It's just a show.[:/]
Didn't like seeing Kellie go. She's got a future, I think.
