There was a very bad crane accident in Houston yesterday. A crane toppled over and killed one man and seriously injured 2 others. Well I knew the man who died, drank beer with him many times and one of the injured is my best friend of over 30 years. I'd like to have some prayers said for the gentleman who died and some vibes sent to my bud in ICU. He's got a little 5yo baby girl and a wife who's pulling her hair out at the moment.

I started prayers last evening when, I heard it on the news. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. If, we can do anything else, let us know. My heart goes out to his family, also.
The last I heard, they didn't know what caused the crane to fall. It's always sad to hear things like that.

I wish I had something calming and comforting to tell you. I wish I could tell you that it will all be alright. I wish I could help you see a reason for pain and suffering.....

Sometimes we don't know why horrible things happen... some people say "there's a greater plan that you just don't understand".... but seeing that plan is sometimes impossible.

Just know that my thoughts are with you, your friend and his family. May the shock and loss be met with support from those dear to your heart.

God bless the friend you lost, the friend who is hurt and both of their families. God bless you, too, my friend, and may he/she take the pain away soon, leaving both you and them with fond memories of great lives and times. My prayers are full of these thoughts and feelings.

Ok I've been asked by a few of you for an update.. Thanks to all the PMs

He is doing a bit better, he's still in ICU. They removed the ventilator yesterday and gave him a trach tube to help him breath on his own. They're still feeding him through a tube though... He's still so out of it because of the drugs. He's showing signs fo coming around though. He's started to move his head some, shoulders a bit and he lightly squeezed his moms hand lastnight. She broke down in tears and cried tears of joy. These are good signs.

Injuries:
Massive head trauma - no signs of debilitating brain dmg.
Shattered Pelvis
Right leg broken in 3 places
Dislocated shoulder
broken ribs

Pretty much imagine a swoop go wrong at 70' ...

He's got a huge recovery ahead of him. So let's get some ***VIBES*** going please.


As for the others, the gentleman who died has been laid to rest. The 3rd gent was released from the hospital with a shattered ankle and a broken jaw, minor bruises and scrapes. He's going to be 100%

Again, those who know me know, I don't do this vibes thing. But this means so much to me I had to try anything... Thanks all
