My new toy!

Recommended Posts

We were walking around the Metreon last weekend and decided to go play around in the "Where the Wild Things Are" store and while trouncing around on all the toys on the stage they have set up for the kids I found this! They didn't have a new one so I made them sell me the dirty old child spittle covered one.
Oh I hope it doesn't rain this weekend because I want to take it out of the plane in Byron!! Who's with me?

Ok, so maybe this is a stupid question.

I'm of course hooked on skydiving, did my 50th jump last weekend, so I'm not a complete rookie, but I gotta know...

When people jump with toys like that, or canoes, life rafts, etc...... what do they do with it at pull time??
Does it just crash on it's own? I know a life raft wouldn't kill you if it fell on you... and you may be safe with that thing falling on it's own... what what about other stuff??

There are no stupid questions.... but you generally let go of it, and have it crash all by itself. That's why a lot of DZ's don't allow stuff to be thrown out of airplanes. Since you let go of it at about 5000 feet or so, it could blow somewhere it's shouldn't go..

Are you sure you don't want me to send you a newsperson??

Anchors tend to be small, don't eat much, but they tend to be really loud and whiney!! Some of them live on hairspray fumes, so invest in Aquanet!!

OK I'll bite... What the hell are you talking about?
