Zipp0 1 #1 May 30, 2006 Something kept me away from the DZ this holiday weekend, and I didn't know what it was until reading about all of the horrible accidents this morning. I can't explain it, but I could just not bring myself to go - and since I started (recently) jumping, I am always thinking about it, and ready for the short drive to the DZ. A weekend like this gives me pause. Even though I didn't 'know' anyone who had trouble this weekend, outside of maybe reading/responding to a few of their posts here, it does make an accident hit closer to home. I was anxious to jump by ass off, but then I followed my gut and just relaxed w/ the kids... and as the reports came in, I just decided to practice packing (always good for me to do), connect w/ friends, and I actually recruited some whuffos to do some tandems.
