For consumer-type stuff like that, I definitely include epinions; they have nice long wordy opinions. I haven't been unhappy yet. My other favorite appliance. It works just as well as it seems to. JENNR8R 0 #29 June 1, 2006 My KitchenAid mixer... I love to bake, and I've made hundreds of wedding cakes with it. I bought it 27 years ago, and it's still works just like it did when it was new. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday. Sleep in the kitchen, do ya?? My place is pretty small (1 bedroom apartment), but I don't sleep in the kitchen. I set the coffee up at night and set the timer for 6am. Remember those? (I tend to hang onto stuff till I wear it completely out.....Oscar's still going strong.) d_squared431 0 #44 June 1, 2006 My second favorite item would be my Crock Pot. I also love that thing. I can sometimes work such long hours and the last thing I want to do is cook when I get home. It takes 10 minutes in the mornings to through a bunch of who knows what in it and then when you get home dinner is already done.
