efs4ever 3 #9 May 31, 2006 I've lived in the same apartment for over seven years, and I replaced the stove and fridge with my own. I had to run plumbing from under the sink and through the roof to get the ice maker to work. My favorite, though, is the ceramic top stove. BLACK, of course. _________________________Russell M. thegreekone 0 #10 May 31, 2006 Quote My favorite, though, is the ceramic top stove. how does it compare to cooking with gas. It looks great I am sure, but is it still prone to hot spots and burning, like electricity? Quote Black, of course of course. edited to add: I admit that I am a sick and snobby freak when it comes to kitchens.

And I will try to leave the essentials like refigerator and stove out of this. I think my favortie when it comes to versatilty is our Tibos Electric Crepe Maker. It's great for making crepes. However, it is also ideal for pancakes, grilled sandwiches, and just about anything for which a griddle would be necessary. We've even stir-fried on it! It provides even heat throughout and is non-stick. We just bought a spare in case this one goes out. My wife is hotter than your wife.
