Did anyone else’s parachutist come all fucked up this month? Mine is printed crooked and cut all screwy. Half of some pages are not even on the page. Some BS!

Also. What discipline is CF??? Canopy formation?? I thought that was CRW.

How long have they been called that? I've never heard of that either. :| Still say 'crew' and 'r-dub'. :| 'course I've been out of the loop for a couple of months...

Nobody actually calls it "CF". That's such an official failure on the part of USPA to exert power over language.

Here's proof:

Search for "CF": 677 results

Search for "CRW": 5489 results

Search for "CREW": 7841 results

(Of course "CREW" could also be the English word, but a quick scan shows most of those 7841 references are the ones we're talking about.)

Umm I think I would have to disagree with you since the FAI uses these terms....I do believe those offices are located outside the US:PFédération Aéronautique Internationale, Avenue Mon-Repos 24,

Ok, you got me there. It's not USPA alone. It's also FAI.

But you still can't argue that on dropzone.com (an international community) the ratio "CRW/CREW" to "CF" is approximately 20:1.

Nobody is adopting "CF". It's a loser term and the public has spoken.

To add insult to injury...my Parachutist came in just fine. Just full of crap and one cool PD ad (as usual).

Now, wait one sec, Bro.... I hear I'm on the WFFC '06 poster.
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Damn straight.

It's CReW and RW for me all the way.

Edited to add: So FS means formation skydiving??? I thought it was talking about freestyle..

Well I wasn't arguing the point Narci...and since only about 1% of the skydiving community in is the competition arena, CF would not be a common term just as FS would not.
So atribute it to education.:)
