staceyg 0 #1 June 2, 2006 Sorry, I had to post about my absurd evening: There's a thunderstorm going on, and I'm sitting on the couch just watching the lightning when I get a craving for a chocolate milkshake (no, I'm not pregnant). So I head to the closest Wendy's and they're out of milkshakes. Nuts. Off to Burger King...they're out too. Next is McDonald's...this can't be happening, nothing there either. WTF?? WHO DRANK ALL THE MILKSHAKES?? Is this a conspiracy to deny me a cold, chocolaty treat? Yes, I could have gone to DQ and gotten a cone; but I really wanted to suck on a straw (someone else can analyze that); and I didn't feel like driving around in a downpour searching for another shake place. I was enjoying the light show though. Well, here I'm back on the couch; and without a milkshake. I'm going to bed.

PhreeZone 20 #3 June 2, 2006 MMMMMMMM.... Steak and Shake. That brings back a few memories of wondering into one at like 2 am after partying at college and ordering up a milkshake and then wondering why I ordered it 10 minutes later. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

I think they just call them "shakes." I think they just have maltose or something in them. If I wanted a milkshake I'd get one at an ice cream place or something. Also you know that McDonaldland character Grimace?? He's the one that drinks those shakes, & LOOK at him! I can't even figure out WTF he's supposed to be. He looks like a mutant intestinal parasite or something. Did he get that way from drinking those shakes?? edited to add ingredients of McDonald's shake: Whole milk, sucrose, cream, nonfat milk solids, corn syrup solids, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, imitation vanilla flavor, carrageenan, cellulose gum, vitamin A palmitate. so, oK, it's dairy, and almost ice cream, but not quite.
