elias123 0 #1 September 13, 2007 Hi there, Does anyone have a few pictures of an Electra canopy in flight or during landing that they could share with me please? I bought one a few weeks back and i'd like to see some pictures of it in action if it's possible. Post here or send to eliasgerris@hotmail.com Thanks in advance!! elias123 0 #3 September 13, 2007 Hi Saskia, Heel hard bedankt voor de moeite :) !! Those pictures are exactly what I was looking for. I already had 2 pics of an Electra but they were both from the side and I wanted to see a picture from the front. What size do you think those Electra's are? I'm guessing they are both 130's? Maybe the skysurfer pic is a little bigger, a 150. Your thoughts? Thanks again! Blues Eli ;)"In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
dragon2 2 #4 September 13, 2007 The first one is a 190 i think, maybe a 170 it's a pretty large angle lens The skysurfer no clue but it's an older pic and I thought they only made down to 150's at first..? ciel bleu, Saskia
phoenixlpr 0 #5 September 13, 2007 Simple: give a camera to someone in order to make pictures about your landing.
elias123 0 #6 September 13, 2007 Wow, I really thought the first one was 150 sqf max. But on second thought, now I'm also guessing it's a 170. I don't know if Parachutes De France only made down to 150 sqf at first, but I do know that now they make them down to 130 sqf (see pics), if they are still in production. Somewhere I hope that the canopy in the skysurfer pic is no bigger than a 150 cause otherwise my canopy looks smaller than I thought :)"In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
elias123 0 #7 September 13, 2007 Sadly I don't own a camera :( But I was planning to ask a friend of mine to make a picture if he's on the ground while I'm jumping."In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
Guinness_fr 0 #8 September 18, 2007 PdF are still manufacturing the Electra, they even have a new (less than 2 year old) 110 sq ft which they call the electra XS which is a bit redesigned for more "swoopability"
