mattyblast 0 #1 May 30, 2006 Anyone? I don't always agree with the opinions they have, but damn if this isn't the funniest show ever."DOOR!!!"
GogglesnTeeth 6 #2 May 30, 2006 Did you see when they attacked "PETA" The Animal Rights Crap. That was good stuff. Definatly my favorite!Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"
mattyblast 0 #3 May 30, 2006 Of course! That was a great one. For those who don't know what this show is, Penn (Gilette) & Teller are a pair of magicians who have a television show on Showtime called "Bullshit." In every episode, they take some subject or idea or philosophy/practice and spend a half-hour proving that it's completely ridiculous. The show is a combination of interviews with people who prove their point, and interviews with morons who spout drivel to support the point they're discrediting. If you find yourself channel-surfing and happen across Penn & Teller Bullshit, check it out for a few minutes. The recent episode about manners & etiquette had me howling! "DOOR!!!" ladyskydiver 0 #4 May 30, 2006 Well...I had to pick other as I've heard of Penn & Teller but have never seen/heard any of their shows. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.
grue 1 #5 May 30, 2006 I love them all. Penn Jillette also has a radio show, pennradio.com, you can download the episodes. I like him because he's a lot like me. Above average height, skeptic, libertarian, atheist, and insane cavete terrae.
Falco98 0 #6 May 30, 2006 you left out my favorite one: "Creationism"! though it's almost too easy a target. Other favorites of mine: Gun Control (which i voted for) Environmental hysteria (where they tear up the hysteria over global warming) Eat This! (making fun of the anti-science movement) Conspiracy Theories (debunking the JFK myth, and taking on people who call 9-11 a conspiracy) and many more. there has been very, very little that they've said that I disagree with [then again, they, like me, are libertarians]. RastaRicanAir 0 #7 May 31, 2006 You left out Bottled Water. The one force even more powerful than the internet at making gullible, money-squandering morons out of otherwise intelligent people. Samurai136 0 #10 June 6, 2006 My favorite is the Alcoholics Anonymous episode: "The success rate over time of AA? 5% The success rate of quiting cold turkey, no AA? 5%"- Penn "Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
Icon134 0 #11 June 6, 2006 I've only watched a couple of them... I did enjoy the numbers one though... I've got 6 months of free showtime to check them out though... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
skyberdyber 0 #12 June 6, 2006 Just saw the season finale, abstinence. Pretty good, although this hasn't been their best season. I agree with Robbie, the bottled water was kick ass. Getting folks to pay $5 for a bottle of garden hose water by putting a fancy label and a spider in it. Awesome. I hope they don't start running out of good topics. What else should they do episodes on? http://www.skydiveatlanta.com http://www.musiccityskydiving.com
Muenkel 0 #13 June 6, 2006 None! They did a really crude routine about Mother Teresa a while back which turned me off to them for good. Chris _________________________________________ Chris
