goofyjumper 0 #1 June 9, 2006 I lost everything last night at a grocery store. I went back and nobody turned it in. I called all my credit cards places and canceled them, but stupid me still had my social security card in it. Also my driver's license. I am afraid that if they do try to call the credit card companies, they will have my SSN and date of birth. Any suggestions?----------------- I love and Miss you so much Honey! Thanatos340 1 #2 June 9, 2006 Contact the credit agencys (TRW, Eqifax and Experian) and put an alert on your credit file. Any credit applications will the require alot of extra verification. OH.. and tell that Fat lazy husband of yours to bring his shiney new truck up to the farm this weekend.

I am going to call them now. Good thing I don't have the best credit because if somebody did apply for credit, they would't get it......lol----------------- I love and Miss you so much Honey! Thanatos340 1 #4 June 9, 2006 QuoteThanks, I have been trying to call him all morning. He is actually working. Is that what he told you??? LOL!! Check the local Bars.. You willl find him. OH.. Wait.. Nevermind.. That cheap bastard is probably somewhere sitting on the tailgate of his new Truck watching over people actually doing work, Drinking a beer and telling everyone about how hard he is working. Make sure you get that alert, Otherwise it will take aalot longer to "HEAL" your credit.

Thanatos340 1 #11 June 9, 2006 Yes. Whoever found you wallet could have just wrote down the info and turned it in.
freeflir29 0 #12 June 9, 2006 I would go ahead with the alert. It's really a good thing to have. I had to put one on my credit after someone attempted to open 2 credit cards in my name. Luckily I caught it before anything was charged. It could have been A LOT worse.
