skydivamegan 0 #1 June 11, 2006 I was wondering if anyone jumps with a good luck charm, guardian, medalian, artifact, etc. As for me I make each jump with a card from a tarot deck of mine. It's actually a Goddess named Aine who is depicted in freefall after jumping from a cliff. The title of the card is "leap of faith" and at the bottom the caption reads "take a risk and put your heart's true desire into action". From the day I got the deck as an aniversary gift from my husband I found the card really special because Aine looks as if she's been set free as she jumps with her arms outstreched and her face turned skyward. The night before my first jump, I did a reading for myself using this deck because I was terrified to jump and I wanted to know if I should go through with it. She was the first card that came up. I took that as a definite sign to go ahead with the jump. I decided at the last minute to put Aine in my pocket and take her along for the ride. After the jump, I understood why she looks so free and happy and immediatly decided that I'd found my passion in life---skydiving. I had her laminated and I've never jumped without her by my side.
