Today, I was mowing. I found a turtle shell that had been there for a couple of months (It's been dry. I haven't mowed lately). I passed it by and figured that I'd get to it later.

15 minutes later, my neighbors cat jumps over the fence and sprints past me. Now, normally the cat likes to hang out on my lawn furniture, but not socialize with me. This was weird. Especially because my riding mower is so loud that I wear earplugs.

When I come around, it is laying there in the sun relaxing. Very still. I get off and go look. Dead.

I go get the shovel and bury the turtle and the cat in the same hole.

On the way back to put up the shovel, I walk up on a Coral Snake. Very, very nasty critters. Whack.
In a new hole, it goes.

I'm using the front door tomorrow morning.

This is too weird.

Bill, about the shell - Rememeber in Sebastian - when there was that straking incident - well - I just accidentally left it in your back yard - sorry - I was drunk and well, running really fast - and I was actually wondering where it went -
