beer concern

i owe beer for passing AFF lvl. 7 (on the 3rd). but i wasn't able to do it that day but i promised to bring it on my next jump. however now i've got family obligations the weekends of the 24th. and the 1st. and to avoid currency issues i'll need to jump this weekend. but i can only jump on sunday and i've got an early morning meeting on monday so i won't be able to hang out and drink beer.

so should i bring beer and let everyone enjoy it in my absence? or make another promise to bring beer next time, when i'll be able to hang out?

i don't want to seem unsocial, but i also don't want to be "the guy who dosen't bring beer".

I think it's alright... These are the coolest, most laid back people on the planet. They will understand. Just catch up, when you can make it to the DZ. IMO. Good luck & Safe jump.

you could always split the differnce.....say buy half the beer for them to enjoy without you and the other half when you can hang and chill out with everyone.

My old home DZ had a beer board. Any beer "offense" was put up there if you couldn't pay up right then. If you were over a month, then someone might remind you, but usually you'd see your own name posted glaringly obvious and you'd make sure you brought some the next time you came in.
