masterrig 1 #26 June 14, 2006 I've got mixed emotions about it but, like you said... they are made in America. a lot of the Chevy and GM products are made in Japan. Drive-trains, engines and rear-ends then assembled here. Personally, I'm a Dodge fan. I've got a Dodge P/U and absolutely no problems... it, was assembled in Mexico! Next season, will definately be interesting... especially to the purists. Chuck

For a while (when they announced they were switching to NEXTEL from Winston, the new car, etc) I was pretty pissed off and was thinking of taking up football . Then, thought about it.....and said screw that. NASCAR is NASCAR. I just roll with the changes. I don't agree with a lot of them....but when it comes down to it I still love it. Its an awesome sport. Nothing like sitting in grandstands with 200,000 other people screaming and can't hear a damn one of them (not to mention being one of two Jeff Gordon fan's among a sea of red hats). Being one of the rare Gordon fans! I guess, any crowd drawing activities like football, baseball or auto racing, they gotta keep it 'interesting' and put fannies in seats. Kinda funny how we learn the new changes and continue to enjoy what ever it is. I'm kinda in agreement with the ol' boy who said he had seen a lot of changes in his lifetime and didn't like a damned one of 'em! Chuck

masterrig 1 #30 June 14, 2006 Yessir! You are right on the mark there! What can you say about Nark Martin? The guy is a darned good driver and a gentleman. I get tickled, every time I see #6 in the winner's circle. I enjoy watching several of the younger drivers but, Mark is hands down, the best out there. hisgoofyness 0 #31 June 14, 2006 Too bad this is to be Mark's last year... I really hope he takes the Cup. He truly deserves one! Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!
jloirsdaan 0 #32 June 14, 2006 Quote really hope he takes the Cup. If anyone other than Jimmie or Jeff is gonna win it....that's who I'd hope for. He is a great driver and has raced all those years and ended up second too many times. He sure has been close these last couple of years! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft. He has some substantial offers plus the truck series. Don't say good-by just yet. I know, I'm gonna hate to see the day he really does retire.
