Black Pudding and Anfield

My son, Nick, just called me from England. He just toured Anfield. I asked if he liked it, and he said it would have been better if it wasn't the field for Liverpool's team. He did send some pics to me off his phone. I love new technology!

I asked how the food was and he replied, "uh...not that great." Then he added that some of the boys thought they were eating pudding at dinner last night. Only after they ate it did the tour guides tell them that they just ate pig's blood. I would have loved to have been there to see the looks on those American boys' faces who are so used to burgers and pizza! Nick didn't try it and boy was he glad!

Anfield is an awesome stadium, im not a liverpool fan myself but saw it up close a few months ago.

I actually loved liverpool when i was there. I was in a proper liverpool supporters club and the atmosphere was electric. Not a bit of wall was bare. They had scarfs and flags from every game.

I just didnt dare open my mouth that i wasnt a liverpool fan

Now when I went to England & Ireland last month, I have to say that I thought I was going to hate the food out there, but it was very very good.

They really love their sausage! And there sausage and bacon are very different from ours. In fact I think it is better.

black pudding is awesome especially with daddys sauce. White pudding tastes more like irish sausage. English Breakfast black/whit pudding, eggs, sausage, bacon beans fried bread and mushrooms with toast on the side with a nice cup of rosy lee.mmmmmmmmm Oh and brown sauce
