GogglesnTeeth 6 #2 June 19, 2006 Hmmmmmm, and what's wrong with going fast on your belly??? wanna race? I've done 167 on my belly (arching very hard) and had control. I've flown on my belly and got good video of people head down or sit flying in front of me! remember: "Friends Don't Let Friends Go Low.... Fall Faster!!!"Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"
SWATcop 0 #3 June 19, 2006 I hit 144 today in a track, falling flat was 124. Just tried out my new ProTrack this afternoon.Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #
masterblaster72 0 #4 June 19, 2006 QuoteMe thinks I need to lose some weight. Or get a bigger jumpsuit :) 147mph for belly is *crazy* fast, that's actually the lower end of my sit-fly speed. I track at 111mph...haven't done a belly-to-earth jump with my pro-track yet, but I imagine it's less than 120mph since I have trouble keeping up with pretty much anyone when on my belly. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
micro 0 #5 June 19, 2006 this weekend, not trying to fall fast... three jumps, actually trying to fall slow... 132, 133, 134 respectively. I seriously need to work on de-arching and learning to fly slower. Ugh. Sometimes I hate being a big guy. I wonder what I could do in a really hard arch, no suit, all tucked in, still on my belly? I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And...

QuickDraw 0 #11 June 19, 2006 Agreed. I fall about 100-105mph in a Sonic FF suit in an average track & 125-130 flat and 149 best belly (230lb in the door). -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning

Well, just to buck the trend here I once did a 3-way RW with two similar sized people, we averaged 105 for the entire dive (But we lost the cameraman - the vid showed two or three points then a rapidly receeding dot against the blue sky)Do you want to have an ideagasm? GogglesnTeeth 6 #15 June 19, 2006 Well, I don't consider myself fat, just very aero-dynamic. Years of beer and pizza have given me a natural nose-cone when I fly on my belly. I can fly with you silly floaty people in my jump suit..... but I would rather go fast!! I usually jump at Air Adventures of Clewiston, FL. I have been known to make appearences at Z-Hills from time to time too. I just have a realllllly good, natural arch! Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!" SWATcop 0 #18 June 19, 2006 Oh, not bragging. I have 7 jumps in the last ten years. I am a little rusty. I am guessing that was the track when I hit that speed. I did a couple FL and BL but I don't think I would have gained that much speed in them.Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #
matt1215 0 #19 June 19, 2006 I do 140-145 in shorts and a t-shirt, not really thinking about my arch. Tracking slows me to about 115-120.

Do you think anyone will mention whether they are refering to true airspeed or adjusted? (and what adjustment)
