Well, the temptation was just too great for me, especially in this Texas heat. I'm sitting here enjoying a classic coke float with vanilla ice cream, both made with Splenda. boinky 0 #30 June 24, 2006 I used to work as a bartender at Bennigan's. We made root beer floats with vanilla ice cream and IBC bottled root beer. First we'd put some ice cream in the bottom of a tall glass. Then we'd pour a tiny bit of root beer over the ice cream and mush it all up together. Add a little more ice cream. After some of the froth/foam settled, we slowly poured the root beer almost to the top of the glass. Then we served the float with a tall iced tea spoon and the remainder of the bottled root beer on the side, for the customer to refill the glass as needed.Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts?
