- first time under something called a Fury ("come on, I'm pulling the toggle, can you turn a little faster, plz?"
- first time jumping a rig I didn't recognize (you mean they made rigs other than Javs, Mirages, Voodoos and Microns??? ).

- first time out of a Porter.

And 7 years to the weekend after the First Jump.

The cases shalt be bought in 2 weeks after the return with the new rig from the US.

Heard something about a boogie here in Vancouver in early August involving a Otter?

That's right, it was a perfectedly flipped/inverted base that actually held for a few seconds.

They tell me bumping into someone on exit is considered a dock in FF'ing

Gonna find me some FF coaching, looks like I got docks on exit down pat.

Not sure if there's still spaces left, but Guano's going to be doing a coaching weekend down at Snohomish this coming weekend (info in Events & Places) if you want to come across the border. Or, you can come to Mt. Vernon ... even closer, and much cheaper than jumping up north of the border. (That said, I really enjoyed my visit to Pitt Meadows and have no doubt that you'll have a lot of fun up there, too).

80 milea ain't all that far away - especially when jump tickets with exchange are ~2/3 the cost of up here. Think I'll be venturing south of the border a few times this summer

No SDC for me
The rigger is in Madison from 7 Hills - the lass would make me drive down to Ottawa on my own (she has little interest in sitting around a DZ, and I am a little short on change to buy her a tandem just now) - and her car is a PoS that I doubt would make it to the Wi/Il border, let alone to SDC

Will try to get a jump or two in at 7 Hills, but alas that will be it - get in 11PM Friday night, leave early after noon Monday (Canada Day holiday - only half a day of official work time lost then on Friday - I know the Producers are gonna be ticked with me out of town at this point in the project over the weekend as it is ).
