drunkenmunkey 0 #1 August 13, 2007 Hi all trying to find out some experiences with the voodoo container and getting the pouch replaced. i have no rigging experience but to me, the spandex pouch on the voodoo seems needlessly complicated, covering the entire flap including the grommet. javelin and other manufacturers seem to be a simpler one piece design, easily replaced. so i am trying to find out from voodoo owners out there your experiences on getting your pouch replaced, and how many jumps you got before it required replacing. mine showed signs of wear after only 100 jumps from brand new. voodoo 2.0 V2
skybeergodd 0 #2 August 14, 2007 I have replaced a couple voodoo pouches. The definitly have to get the replacement pouch from Rigging Innovations. I thought about making one but after looking at it and getting the price from RI I realized it was going to cost about the same and RI gets the parts out qickly. Once you have the pouch replacing it is no big deal at all. As far as how long it lasts, that depends on how much abuse it takes but it should last quiet along while.I have rigs with over 1000 jumps on them and still have no issues with the BOC spandex. fluegel 0 #3 August 14, 2007 Hi, my voodo needed a new spandex pouch after 800 jumps. After about 150 jumps ist startet to show some wear, but it was still jumpable when i decided to replace it during the cypres-4year-check.
