fr33flyr 0 #1 August 12, 2007 I recently bought a used container from a pro swooper and the risers have been stiched to reduce drag. This has resulted in the front risers being about a 1/4 inch shorter than the rears. This obviously affects the trim of the canopy. While I am a swooper I am no where near good enough to benefit from this mod and am concerned about how it will affect my canopy flight. Short or stich picking or replacing the risers all together, do any riggers have suggestions to fix the issue. _______________________________ I like life....It's something to do. mark 107 #2 August 12, 2007 I'd recommend a few test jumps to see if it makes any difference at all. Most canopies with more than a couple hundred jumps are out of trim by way more than 1/4". Mark
Spizzzarko 0 #3 August 13, 2007 I found that it didn't really make a difference in the swoop. Goos technique made much more of a difference in the length of my swoop. You can stitch the rears up a little too if you want to get rid of some of that difference. I did notice some differences in openings though. Your mileage may very.
